London (and South East) Calling
« on October 25, 2014, 11:09:15 am by VivaRovers »
Huge game for the Belles away at London Bees. If Sunderland fail to beat Millwall a win for the Belles will see them crowned champions.

Any other Rovers fans coming along to Barnet's The Hive for it? 2pm kick-off. £4 adults / £2 concessions

That would be great for the Belles. I was disgusted when BBC mourned the plight of Everton and then featured Sunderland, who were playing the Belles, as replacements. It was all about Sunderland losing rather than the Belles winning and potentially returning at the first attempt.

I can't get to the game but have joined the Belles supporters't club and have roped in 10 family members and friends to do the same . Apart from the major sponsor they are run by volunteers and deserve the support of the Doncaster Community in any we can show it.
The players all have amateur status and only their travel expenses are refundable . Courtney Sweetman Clark for instance  lives in Leicester and travels twice a week to training in Donny AFTER  her normal working day.

The Belles still represent the sporting values we all wish we could still witness in the men's professional game . How I wish they could be fully integrated into Club Doncaster to get some synergy benefits  and a higher profile .

Given some of the crap served up by Rovers recently a few of them might get a game as well mind.
