The marketing dept look like they have been working hard again. Club Doncaster seems to be growing and it will generate more cash for new players so all looks good.

that's the first thing I did, I checked for London next week and worked fine

just tried it on IE and it was ok went back to Firefox not displaying the hotels disabled Adblocker plugin for that site and it works, super efficient adblocker  well sometimes

I would have thought that the marketing department would be better served by actually marketing the club and getting bums on seats, rather than setting up schemes like this that will generate a minimal return for the club.

I don't think anyone could argue that free money isn't a good thing for the club, but if it is at the expense of more important things then the impact is totally lost.

A week from now, how many people wanting to book a hotel will remember to go to clubdoncastercompare.com? They will revert back to their trusted sites of lastminute.com, tripadvisor, hotels.com eastcoast etc.

Unfortunately DRFC does not have the footprint and the market presence to make these things worthwhile (including mobile phone contracts, credit cards etc)

Instead they should be concentrating on getting people through the door, watching football, buying pies and supping beer, and maybe buying a scarf and a mug from the shop.

Its a comparison site, therefore it compares all the deals from EG mobile phone retailers and puts them in price order, so you can get the best deal, you buy then from the retailer of the phone EG carphonewarehouse and obviously not DRFC, same with the hotel rooms
