Got a good feeling about Crewe game...

So we can kiss goodbye to 3 points (I don't have a good record when it comes to anticipating the way our games will go), nevertheless I'm sticking with my positive vibe.  So, can anybody recommend any decent pre-match drinking holes? Haven't been to Crewe before.

We usually go in the Brunswick I think it's called on Nantwich road 5 mins walk to ground

They have signed 2 strikers on loan yesterday. Might make a difference but I am confident of a win. Lets hope that the team that played at Rochdale turn up I will be there to cheer them on.

I feel the same as the OP. For about the fourth time this season I'm convinced we're destined for a win, but we've failed to do so every time!   

This time will be different though! I'm convinced we'll win, and win big!!

I was at uni in Crewe (yeah that's right!) And nantwich road used to be full of great pubs there was the brunswick, the barrel, an irish place called shenanagans or something like that, the royal and loads of others! Played on the gresty road turf in the crewesager cup too (the uni was on two sights - Crewe and Alsager) and the italian national squad used alsager as their base for euro 96! Great times!

Our work's MD went to one of those posh schools...

During a trip to an exhibition a few years back we were ribbing him (only gently) about the behaviour that allegedly goes on at such places..  His response was:

"Look, we weren't buggering each other ALL the time"...

Some of them did. Luckily I wasn't that way inclined!

What was just as bad though was seeing the younger students being bullied. These were the ones selected by older students to become their  personal 'fags'. Worst thing was seeing them get scorched in front of the fire.........Luckily smoking fags indoors is illegal nowadays.

Good try IDM - I like it

But Ajose 33 goals in 125 league games at the start of this season suggests he is ahead our our two at the moment

The other had 4 in 15 games for Crewe last season

Mind you who knows if ours are better longer term prospects, but it will be a while before that is clear or not

Ajose is a player we were sniffing around to get on loan a while back I think and, he's gone on to score against us a couple of times recently. 

As long as we score one more than them, I'm not bothered how we do it really.
