They must be waiting until his clearance comes through. Though that should be a formality.

But, whilst we will have a cracking player until the end of the season, were gonna have to sign someone else in the summer?

I would take a risk and offer him a 2.5 year deal and maybe cash in if a bid comes in a year later.

That would be a massive gamble and totally unnecessary.

Why would it be a "massive gamble?". Its not as if we're paying a transfer fee. Like has been said,if he has a successful loan spell then more than likely a bigger club, offering bigger wages will step in. Then we're back to square one.  Perhaps a short term deal was all the player would commit to. If thats the case, then fair enough. But an 18month-2 year deal may have been worth the risk for a player with his pedigree. Glad we've got him though.

It would be a gamble as it would tie us into 2.5 year's worth of wages if he turns out to be not as good as thought. Try before you buy...

Got to echo that, the competition for places will do everyone a lot of good.

If he plays like he does on that Youtube clip, then our lads will have to be on their toes as he doesn't seem to hang on to the ball for more than a couple of touches before passing it on. His vision, thought process, and execution on that video is lightning fast. Come on lads, keep up!!

Crikey. He looks a bit good doesn't he on those clips. He could end up terrifying our lot if that's par for the course.

Anyone thought that maybe the lad himself will not sign for a Division 3 club for more than 4 months?

Easy to blame the Board, but you're forgetting that players, good players, hold all the cards these days. Folk on here whined when Billy Sharp left for £1.85M. But if he hadn't had a clause in his contract saying he could leave for that sum, he'd never have joined us.

Bloody shite. Only saw him make one chuffing tackle on 90 mins.

Good signing.....good progress by all at the club as of late.

(except Curtis & Boomstick....they are still on poor form)  ;)

I don't think he would want to sign for longer than 6months.

I think he will wait and see if we get promotion to the Championship

Razak was at Man City and has played in the champions or europa league.  He may not have played much but that's a decent pedigree for TLOD!!!

Based on that let's dig Mirsad Bubalović up and get him on a five year deal! 😉
