but he was still quite vocal

He said he 'wemembers Wovers'
being a 'life-long Spywite'
Wovers sometimes had the edge
but more often than not were shite

I said 'hold on a minute, lad
you're hardly Real Madrid' 
 He said 'Woy Macfawland used to think we were
 until the board got wid'

He said 'I see you've signed Wazack, he's tewible'
'he's cwap, you'll get a tanking'
I said 'you're just jealous of our Abdul
Thank got you'd not seen Mark Rankine'

The voices got a bit high
When I said he was a liar
he said 'I'm as stwaight as a die'
I said 'yes, like your f****** spire'.

He said 'anyway it'll finish fwee-one
cos on the table we w**k higher'
I said 'no my friend our form is second to none
we'll beat you, we're on fire'

In the end, his score was right
as we walked out of the ground
but the thing that made it all alright
Was that he got it the wong way Wound

It was that dead vivid he's got me at it.
