For those going to Chesterfield by train....

I am meeting up in Sheffield for a few sherberts before the match with a few Rovers fans....If anyone wants to join us you are very welcome. We will then get a train to Chesterfield a bit later. So will be in "The Rutland Arms" from about 12.30 onwards. To get to it leave Sheffield station  go up the rise, cross the dual carriageway and walk towards the "Howard Hotel". When you get to the road in front of this pub turn left and follow this road, past " the showroom" a cinema/cafe/bar complex,  and on the next corner is "The Rutland Arms" on the right. Its literally about 500 yards from the station. Has a selection of real ales and real scrumpy cider as well as usual range of lagers....as I say anyone is welcome....

Just to add to this, its on the right hand side of the road. Past the Sheffield Hallam student union (big metallic building) and Spearmint Rhinos gentlemans club.

Should we win at Chesterfield (hopefully), I would recommend returning to Spearmint Rhino.

Word of warning. I've done that on the way to a game and ended up staying in the pub all afternoon.
