Rupees

Don't insult the Indian economy - you can get 93 Rupees to the pound!
They work harder than any southern European country.
Italian and Turkish lira drifted into the millions over the years.
The rupee has been between 70 and 95 to the pound since 1970.

Just clearing up a factual inexactitude.

I'm sorry SS. I wasn't trying to be insulting. I was just referring to the exchange rate - in the spirit of this thread.  The rupee is dealt with in crore so you defintely can accept that in the context of this thread, it is a perfectly apposite reference.

Just shows how difficult it can be to integrate overseas players into the lower leagues here. Wonder how much the 'experiment' has cost the club in salary, signing fees etc in the last year and half. Bit of a waste really, could have been spent better else where to be fair
African players don't seem to have a problem.

Marc never complained about living here . He settled better than I would have coming from his previous environment.  His only disappointment was not to get a run of games . You can't blame him for his reaction to being subbed after 25 minutes at Peterborough ... his last chance to shine with Furman away and Wellens crocked . He will do well  back in Spain I  have no doubt.

No offence taken, just having a little banter
No fun without extracting the urine.

Didn't realise that you could count in Hindi as well - crore!!
