He has not had much of a welcome from fans on the Preston forum . Can't fans be quick to put players down !

Well that's his lookout now...He wanted to go and join them and by all accounts he hasn't been very impressive and to be fair to Preston fans they can only comment on what they see...Form is temporary though and class is permanent so it wont be long till they realise what they have..I still don't think they will sign him though..It was a clever bit of business,if they go up they can afford to pay the money and if they don't they will just send him back...

Any links to some examples? I'd be interested to see what they think is a good keeper if that's the case.

To be honest his form this season hasn't been as good as last year. It's poor by them to judge him so quickly though.

Cheers. I don't think there's THAT much criticism on that thread, more just people arguing that he shouldn't have walked into the first team when their exisiting keeper was playing well. Most of the comments agree that the OP is talking out of his arse, which to be fair I would as well.

just watched the highlights of the football league show on fast forward saw Dean Saunders face out of respect of the job he did for Rovers on last minute  freebie transfers (and could do again) slowed the tape & watched the highlights -- Sam johnstone  was hopeless for their second goal - he stood rooted to one side of the goal instead of moving into the centre as the ball went up in the air --- yes it's easy to say afterwards but judge for yourself.

Delighted we've got Bywater - experienced and he catches the ball - he doesn't punch everytime which is is the trend these days

Mad as a box of frogs too, which a quality I always like in a keeper.

Andy Beesley was another one with a thousand yard stare.  Brave as lions and no regard for personal safety
