What?

I mentioned Bournemouth because someone asked whether or not they are now owned by overseas investors. They are. Some bloke with huge ambition and huge pockets. What's not to say? FFS.

They could easily be another Coventry or Portsmouth in years to come. Me? I think it's a deplorable way to run any football club.

When did the Reading demise begin? They're in a similar position to where they were 10-12 years ago, just prior to their yo-yoing to and from the premier league. Both Madejski and JR deserve credit. Madejski delivered what is a lovely stadium for Reading, and its too his credit that he still has the clubs best interests at heart.

I think your wasting your time South, it's the JR Celebrity Death match between supporters it flares up every now and then, buy your popcorn and wait for the action.
Savvy puts in two left jabs, Bob circles him looking for an opportunity to let his uppercut go, which has took twenty seven opponents out before.

Savvy keeps pecking away opening cuts up below the eyes, blood flowing with JR in it, then Bob gets his uppercut away, think of the Russian and Apollo Creed and Savvy looks in trouble.

The twoing and froing of the match is a joy to watch, Bob hits with a well honed argument, Savvy though is proving a worthy opponent pushing him all the way.
The referee JR holds both hands up 'Gentleman it's a draw'!!

Bob holds onto his British title and wins another Lonsdale belt, Savvy has got time on his side he will go European for his next bout it will either be Denaby's Billystubbstears or that old political warhorse IC1967 who between them have fought 147 rubber matches. :chair:

It's amazing how every time a thread is put up about bad owners at football clubs certain posters automatically assume it's an attack on a former chairman of this club.

The article was sent to me by a Reading supporter, and I thought it made good reading so it was put up on here. Every time I see an article of a similar ilk I reserve the right to do the same.

I think perhaps you protest just a bit too much, Bob G. Perhaps I was aiming that at this comment..

"Some one buying a club, promising the world and then not having the money in the first place, never! ;)"

It's like a red rag to a bull. Okay, might not be designed to cause trouble, but it's just so tiresome.
