Having viewed Mick's wildly innacurate 'expert' tips from the past few years....you would have to say it's pretty much nailed on for an Arsenal win.

So how much did a 2-1 Arsenal victory pay out?

Hahaha!

Look. I didn't tip Man Utd. I played the odds. They were the likeliest winner so that's why I backed them. I didn't fancy them. I purely used cold, steely logic to try to maximise my returns.

Never mind. It was bet to nothing so no harm done. It did at least make the match more enjoyable.

Also was a win win for me as I can't tell you how much I hate them.

.... an untold FORTUNE for a neutral like me !!!!!

Well done Ref as well ... a few years ago that COULD have been an entirely different affair. I would only pull him up for not taking action against SERIAL fouler Fellaini quicker.

....and oh the absolute IRONY of Rooney trotting round with "Respect" on his Captains armband !!!

I couldn't agree more!
I'll continue to enjoy every minute of Utd's fall from grace, for as long as they coninue to attempt to elbow (Fellaini), disrespect referees (Rooney/Di Maria), and dive (take your pick!) their way through every game.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one that profited from the inevitability of the Arsenal win, with Rooney and Welbeck both scoring.

Having viewed Mick's wildly innacurate 'expert' tips from the past few years (e.g the embarrassing Scottish referendum debacle/ gold predictably plunging $600 an ounce after Mick fills his boots at the peak), you would have to say it's pretty much nailed on for an Arsenal win.

What are you on about. Haven't you heard of the night I went up against all the gamblers on the football forum and predicted most of the results correctly from one night of football? I came top of the charts by a mile.

The Scotch referendum was the exception that proves the rule (and was a bit of a wind up for silly Billy's benefit).

Getting into gold was also a brilliant prediction. Only a fool puts all his money in in one go. By drip feeding it as I recommended you'd have been buying at the bottom of the market. This was and still is a masterstroke of excellent investment advice. Mark my words I'm going to make a fortune when gold again soars in the next few years.

What about my prediction for deflation for the Eurozone and UK over 12 months ago? I think you'll find I was bang on.

What about my prediction that the Tories would winn the election? They are now odds on with the bookies and have in the last 2 weeks been ahead of Labour in most of the polls for the first time for years.

Now get an abject apology sorted and we'll say no more about the matter.

Mick with respect, shouldn't you be the one apologising to the good people of this forum, for getting your calculations wrong?

As I explained, it was a deliberate mistake. Well done for spotting it.

I have previously issued abject apologies. I am due dozens of abject apologies. I am also due dozens of answers to questions.

To date I have not received one abject apology. Given this lamentable performance I do not feel inclined to even think about offering anymore abject apologies.

I will still continue to answer every question thrown at me. I just wish even 10% of the questions I ask others would be answered. What do I get instead? Abuse.

It's a good job I've got a thick skin.

Yes.

See how easy it is answering your questions.

Mick to come out with the tall tales that you do have to have a very good memory, if not you tend to look rather foolish

You better answer Wilts question then Mick. Your record will slip otherwise won't it?

Come on. We're all agog to hear you get out of claiming I said something when the words have never appeared absolutely anywhere. Wilts has twice asked you, politely, for an explanation. You must have missed it seeing as you "answer every question thrown at" you. You do realise just how stupid that makes you sound don't you? Oh. sorry. No. You've got that big inferiority complex haven't you...

Not tall tales at all. I am as honest as the day is long. I can understand how it seems unbelievable as most people wouldn't have a clue about how to bash the bookies. Unfortunately for the bookies I am an expert at bashing them.

I won't lose any sleep if people don't believe me as I'll be spending my time laughing all the way to the bank. All those who don't believe me, you do know today is the first day of Cheltenham? For anyone that's clued up like what I am it is a license to print money.

If it hadn't been for the negativity about my Paddy Power thread you'd all be £100 richer if I'd posted the advice and you'd taken it.

Your loss.
