Not many could see what sod was upto, he was getting dogs abuse

Hmmm that' s exactly how I remember it. He constantly berated for using Guy and Wilson or at least that's how I remember it. This is the time when the selected memories start to batter Dickov with.

Sean had a few blind spots with certain players, he started off playing attacking football but in the end the team was scared of it's own shadow.
When we came against for example Spurs in the cup, his tactic was play diagonal long balls to Hayter who pulled onto the full back, instead of if your going out play the football that got you there.

His teams in cup football had an inferiority complex, and i'm not talking about beating Leeds in the play-off final, for a time his team played the finest football i have seen in my lifetime, but in the end the funds dried up and so did the ideas.
A fantastic manager who was let go at the right time.

Answer the question. This question has been asked by countless people many many times. And every time it has been ignored and avoided. Please tell me what Dickov brings to the club and what style of play do we play??

in the real world getting 54 or was it 56 points in the championship isn't failure even if you go down

Admittedly, I was gutted to see SO'D go and when Saunders came in I just couldn't see how at all he was going to improve things. I wasn't a massive fan of 'the experiment', but I can now understand why it happened.

Yes, Saunders got us relegated from the Championship and his interviews were ridiculous, but funny (hence my username) the majority of the time, but I don't think he has been given the credit he deserves for the job he did for us in the Summer leading up to the season in which we won League 1 - he basically re-built the squad, he installed a team ethic and togetherness which I have never known or seen before and he sent the players out onto that pitch and they played as if their lives depended on it and he scored at Cleethorpes Town!  ;) He has a lot to do with us winning League 1!

As someone above has said; the job he is doing at Crawley Town has put him back in the management shop window, especially if he keeps them up!

I would take Saunders back any day over Dickov!
