Just the manager, we've got a more than capable team.

Dare to dream,I'm not so sure, were desperate for a goal scorer, the defence makes so many mistakes, and the central midfield is short of creativity

I think the defence looks bad because its given so much to do due tho the fact weve got an unbalanced team. Dickovs contstant love of attak means he's not happy with playing 5 in midfield which has whats worked for us this season.

Agree about the goalscorer bpoolrover but it's very difficult to find one in this league!

Our 15 a season striker is on loan at Scunthorpe. We've already got him, we just don't play to his strengths.

Players I'd get rid of are Evina, Razak and McCombe.

Keep Clarke-Harris?

As what? An example to the Youth Team players of what they might end up like if they don't try?

From the three times I've seen him, what he needs is a heart transplant.

I despise any player who regularly goes looking to dive. He's done it in every game so far. If that's his approach, I don't want him anywhere near my club.

The right manager would tell him it's not on, but under Paul there seems no consequences for losing games or discipline or just plain old cheating, i hate it myself, anyway unless Rotherham offered him for fifty grand we wouldn't buy him.

Generally speaking, the higher a team is in the league is a good indication of how effective their diving is. There has been exceptions of course, one being Brain Clough's Forest. His son however is quite the opposite judging by his diving Sheffield united players. Bristol city are another example of cheating bas**rds. It's very effective if you can get away with it, and teams at the top do, unfortunately.

Clarkson-Harris isn't ours to keep, so it isn't our choice.

I don't see why PD gave Wellens a 2 year deal, at his age. Much better to weigh it up at the end of the season.

It is difficult to call when we don't know the strength of the young lads coming through.

Some will choose to leave anyway, having only agreed short term deals as a stopgap.
If anyone wants them, that is!

Perhaps Dickov will be back in for the likes of Wabara and Razak, if he gets another job after his time at Rovers is up.

bang on sammy totally agree with who you'd let go should be some good money freed up there hopefully they put it into some decent players we have to pay for its proven frees and loans don't work we must get a good winger and move copps to defence

We were far too desperate to keep Wellens, thinking he would tear this division apart. I don't disagree much with Sammy's list, although there is no way McCullough will be leaving us.

I would retain Jones as a coach and keep his playing registration. Furman and Stevens should be offered new deals. I am unsure about Bennett. He still seems to be a fringe player after all the time he's been here.

Furman needs to be played properly. He is the toughest, fittest and most robust midfielder we have, but is constantly played in the wrong position. He does not play at the bottom of the diamond. Get him further forward!

Duff? We've had plenty of duff players under PD.

There will be more talent and heart on show at the Coppinger Legends Game than most of our team have got. Sign some of them buggers back up.

Now would be a great time to bring in Jones until the end of season.... just to see the style of football he plays and the reaction of the players. At best it could mean results pick up and we finish the season on a high.... if he does bugger all and the players don't respond we start next season with fresh blood on and off the pitch....either way season tickets would likely puck up for next year.

Pretty much with that, esp McCullough. He's stepped up well this season and will only get wiser and stronger. At least championship bound in a few years, and for a pretty penny if it's not with us.

I'm a bit fed up of its all dickovs fault..Some of the individual performances some of these players have put in this season have just been not good enough,I would let go

Bywater: Average keeper, think we can do better
Evina: Just not good enough
Bennett:just not good enough on a consistent basis
Wellens:Still produces flashes but for every good thing nowadays theres 5 bad things.End of the road
Jones and Mcoombe-just come to the end of the road too.Jones as coach
Stevens-Surprise choice but in this day and age you have to offer something going forward..
Razaak and Harris : neither wants to be here..
Theo-for obvious reasons
                        And the unpopular choice
Curtis Main-You can only go on what you see and the games were he has apparently played well are the odd game I've missed..Capable of a worldy but apart from that doesn't do anything for me,cant head and his football brain is slow to read situations.Thought he was abysmal against Bradford..

Out of contact ( I think).. Bywater , Stevens , Wabara , Mc Coombe , Jones , Razak, Bennett, Tyson, Robinson. Likey to leave for pastures new , Furman , Wabara, Forrester  . I think Richie will see out his contract with us but hopefully this will not block the addition of a new midfield general or at least the accelerated progression of Middleton . In my view rather than replace those leaving I hope we promote , Lund, Middleton , Paul McKay , Whitehouse, Mandeville and Jack McKay .. That would be the proof that the declared development strategy  is working .

That's all well and good in theory Brian..but that's a lot of new inexperienced blood, with the size of squad we operate promoting all of those at once would be a massive risk...
