Typical. Unable to support the points you keep making and so you revert to being offensive and personal.

There's a difference between signing a pre-agreement and signing a full deal. It's fairly well-documented that the Sequentia "deal" was not the deal of the century as Ryan crowed, but a shady set of half promises that seemed to change by the day. Thank F**K the club did not get into bed with Phelan.

If it had been good for the long-term success of Rovers, I've no doubt the owners would have sold up. They didn't, so we move on.

I don't know why people keep banging on about this deal or that deal. John Ryan's gone. It was great for the most part but now it's consigned to history. Two summer's b*llocksed up with JR's fantasy-land is enough.

I think most of us are in agreement that Paul Dickov is not the long-term solution to the club on the pitch. He's a great scout - no doubt. He can spot talent, and he can read the game well. He shows that in his interviews. But there's a gap translating that knowledge into practice - and that's where manager prove their worth. Realising the vision.

No idea what the board will do but I reckon they may surprise us. Keep the faith.

Acko, yes shady promises. 40m to invest shrank to 20 then 10... Proof was a faxed copy of a bank statement. A sound basis for an assault on the premier league.... Complete sham.

In fact, you can read all the details in the new unauthorised book about JR's Rovers tenure - Gullible's Travels (or A Sale of Two Titties). Available in all shite booksellers.

explain Donny how does taking a bad rugby team over put us in a better fair play position

Acko, i don't agree that 'The Dons' are a bad rugby team, they are having a decent period in their history, just like us an the Knight, a collective of all the clubs pooling resources, money etc, would make all the teams stronger.
All our side's are poorly supported, all of us together could grow the strength of all, where it could be feasible that The Dons get promoted to Super League eventually, same for The Knights and for us to the championship, this would lead to grater gate revenue's, merchandise sales and interest in Doncaster as a whole.

No what i mean is over the past four or five seasons, The Dons have won a trophy, been promoted and are generally better run than they have been for years, yes this season is a bad start.
They may not have the crowds but their brief period in the top league showed that if they are doing well the town will watch them, none of the clubs are in a position to go it alone and be stronger than sticking together.
