OK so its one game I am not best to comment on being a bus ride away. However I go and support my team through thick and thin as do most on here, so I suppse we can only see our viewpoint in terms of floating support. I am expecting a massive disapointment on Tuesday. Will we sell all the, i believe, 1500 posibly not. The season is over for a lot I fear. However I hope we do sell more.
However a question. If you were not a ST holder and we had lost 10 home matches and you were slightly undecided, would you rush to buy a home ticket if you knew we had lost the same number of games as Yeovil, bottom?
Good luck to the marketing dept on that one .....
No satisfaction on pointing that one out just fact......

I'm middle aged and a little bit more to be honest.
IF ( heaven forbid) they lost the next umpteen matches then I will still be there.
It's local pride for me now and I want to finish above our mates from Dingleville.
Sheffield exile I am staying with Mrs Rover in that little place where Brian the Blade comes from. Can you suggest a nice pub/restaurant after the match please?
Thanks in advance.

I will be there to see us beat the stuttering blades; however many of my friends and family are not going. The main reason for this is the game is on a Tuesday night opposed to bank holiday Monday like most of the games in our league. I feel a Monday afternoon game would of increased the away following greatly due to fans being back at work Tuesday.

We keep making these excuses don't we "wrong day, wrong time of day, if this wasn't on in town/ racecourse"  etc etc . fact is our supporters have a weak underbelly and this rarely deters visiting support to the Keepmoat.....like Bradford I suppose ?
This is on a Tuesday night when many of our supporters WILL be back from their Easter travels.

Some of our retirees/employed/unemployed will be working days/afters/nights blah blah or can't be bothered ....yes of course this match matters its another opportunity to put one over our bigger local rivals. What more incentive do folk want ?

The possibility of some good football from our team? Effort. Passion. Shots on goal. Tenacious defending. The manager showing some tactical ability
I fear the worst even allowing for our decent away form we've played too many get out of jail cards this season, I fear a bit of a spanking but yet I do so hope I'm wrong

We'll draw. It won't be inspiring but we won't lose.

Our supporters are ok when we are doing well, they soon drop off when we are not. It's not as if we are poor this season, just mid table. Our fans have been spoiled recently.

Well, that was another of my many wasted journeys.
An hour on motorway for 12 miles. Ne'mind.

I've watched the Rovers since 1958 and since 1978 it's been a 90 mile round trip for home games.
I've renewed my season ticket for next year but exactly what value have I had over the last few seasons?
So stuff you Gaz. I can't be called a fair weather fan and I am Royally p***ed off.

We haven't sold as many as Sheff utd, am i being touchy that we always seem obsessed by our crowd numbers, and comparing them against other teams?
We will never be as big as some clubs our fan base has grown over the years, i like our club for what it is a well run smaller club, that hopefully still has ambitions to improve.

I made a brash decision and ordered mine friday, with the post how it was over the Bank Holiday I was told I could collect at Bramall Lane.

In for a penny.

I think that the mindset of how many we sell for both home and away fixtures has been imposed upon us by the club itself. "Get your Early Bird Season Ticket" Well that puts supporter against Supporter in my book, some cannot afford, some can, some do it through loyalty and then with all the deals available to get fans in, you have season ticket holders feeling they are being dealt with shabbily. So it is a No Win situation in my book.

As for the manager - the team well they all share the blame do these individuals for all of us falling out. I too like Idler have supported Donny since around 1956 - It has never been easy supporting Donny, we are a small club compared with both Sheffield Clubs and that lot in West Yorkshire so why not just accept that the fans do not go. I am guilty as anyone for picking my games and so far I have only seen one home win.

Yes we have had success over the last dozen years or so, but then we go back to being Donny.... In my opinion we as fans were treated as human beings more so when we were in the Conference. We are a basic League one club, I did not get involved in the fact file of us and Peterborough as to who wants promotion because we were not in the hunt ever. The squad need more players that do not spit the dummy out and let the fans down, The club fan base is not big enough to endure the likes of the wealthier clubs with far bigger crowds. I am not against ambition but at the moment with all that is going on at the club, can we just not be satisfied (This is someone you do not want to meet if Donny lose) But let us just enjoy our club, At York they have just been given final planning permission for a new Community Stadium for both City and York Knights RLC, the arguments have already started because certain people are attempting to make the ground a viable business with much more Commercial attractions..

On that will somebody please tell me what is being built in Car Park 4.  Thank you

Well I can't go as I'm in Tonbridge, I would have otherwise despite the abject performance on Friday. I highly doubt things will change while PD is at the helm yet when I can make it I will be there.
