Next year's squad.

Given that we're seeking a new Chief Scout to help P.D. put his dream team together, do we know which areas we'll be looking to improve or replace in?
Which players' contracts expire this season?

We need strengthening throughout the squad, two goalkeepers, two centre halves, right full back, defensive midfield, wide left, another right winger and three strikers.
Of course for me there would be half of the squad leaving, Bywater, Marosi, Wabara, McCombe, Jones, McCullough, Robinson, Wellens, Razak, Evina.

If Paul's here he will probably retain most of them a new manager wouldn't be as forgiving. Quality free transfers are there every season, it's the competition you face to get them, that's the problem.

Marosi did well when I saw him at Bristol. Good number 2 keeper IMO.

He will know who he wants by now i hope, he has worked in pro football for years, i am not sure he would need my help, they were just players i have noticed over this season and last.
Unless he has a catastrophic end to the season i think he will cling onto his job, to be fair he isn't miles away from what the squad should have achieved(qualification for the play-off's), you are talking three or four bad results that have left us short.
My opinion is we need a new man in, nothing personal against Paul, i just think the board will retain him for next season, and while he is our manager i will always want him to prove my opinions wrong.

I would keep Copps and Rob Jones and get rid of everybody else.

Including that jerk behind the bar in the West Stand who takes my money, fiddles around for ages working out how much change to give me, and only THEN turns round to his colleague and passes on my order!

Grrr... bring on Summer.
