After today's game Dean Saunders was asked what his mood was.  Dean's reply was, " Once again I am feeling down, "   :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I feel really sorry for him, that's three relegations on his CV now, all of which, in my opinion he has reason to argue against sole responsibility.

True, but also he is at least partly responsible for his fate - jumping ship when wolves came calling - if he'd learned to walk before he could run he may well have had a league 1 champions medal as well. Don't believe in fate, I believe in choices and consequences and I'm afraid he made his choices.

By the same token, he could have had a Conference promotion on his CV, but chose to jump ship to us

He should keep his chin up.

Then it'll match his cheekbones and his eyebrows.

Totally agree with your statement BUT. A few Rovers fans will be happy for what I'm not sure. He had no preseason with our very limited resources , brought on 3 of back 4 in the week before the season & his team won us the title, I can't speak highly enough of him & his team. He left us fair enough , but so would any other manager for the Wolves job , more money big fan base etc even SOD had job interviews to leave us.

He improved a very poor Crawley side, that if he hadn't joined the club would have been relegated long ago, for me, having said that i want a manager that can adapt his team to win whatever style it takes.
What i mean is silky football won't win you the game every week sometimes you have to alter to your opponents weaknesses, Dean for me has one way of playing that is okay in our league, but in the league above, no way.

Paul missed out on the play off's by eight points, he wasn't miles away, but i still think this year was one of the poorest league one's for many a year.
So i still say we should have had enough to be in the play off's, but we are not so for me a clean slate and see what he can build for us this pre season.
