Mourinho would have struggled to keep Blackpool up this season. However it is worth noting that when Birmingham City sacked Lee Clark they looked racing certs to go down along with Blackpool. The Bluenoses appointed Gary Rowett from Burton and managed to finish mid-table.

and things were just starting to go wrong at Burton when he left them after a lot of early season wins so "teflon" (he used to blame everyone else when he was on the pitch -- remember those looks ) floyd hasslebank deserves a lot of credit
