Friendly and Unfriendly tickets.
« on July 11, 2015, 08:54:18 pm by newyankee »

Can anyone please advise me the difference between friendley tickets and unfriendly tickets. I see on DRFC Official that we are selling friendly tickets, do these give you a hug when you have them, will they do favours for you, can you confide in them ?  Do the unfriendly ones gossip about things you have told them in confidence?

I'm sorry to say I don't know NY. It reminds me though of something that's puzzled me for years - just what is is that causes so many doors to have to display a notice saying 'This door is alarmed'. Poor dears. There, there.

Thanks Bob G, it's nice to know someone has a similar sense of humour.  By the way, what about the sign " Quiet, Hospital", can anyone say they have ever seen a loud hospital.   :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

It's like those great big Iceland lorries. Enormous great things. With an enormous great logo in day glo paint down the side: 'Because Mum's are heroes'. Not in my bloody house they're not!

I think 'unfriendly tickets' are the ones sold to L**ds fans in the home end whenever they play at the Keepmoat.

"Mum's gone to Iceland" spawned a generation of abandonment issues...

Well as far as I can see Iceland have no sense of gender. :)

I wasted a full f**kin day once when I saw a sign that read "Mind the step".

The step was good as gold all day and we didn't see any bother at all, the step didn't appear to be in danger or indeed need minding.

Why do they bother installing lifts then put signs on them saying 'in case of fire do not use lift' It's a wonder the Empire State Building is still standing the amount of lifts it has!

Don't even ask what happened when I saw a bench with the instruction "Wet paint" against it...

Reminds me of the Barnsley chap who spent all day staring at a carton of orange juice because the label said "Concentrate."

maybe friendly tickets are "organic" and "free range" (meaning you can move around the ground)

and "unfriendly tickets" are "un-organic" "battery reared" and the fans are "penned in" to one section of the ground

either that or the edges of the ticket are sharp (unfriendly)-- we've all cut our fingers on a sharp piece of paper/card
