all he said was he scored more for doncaster in a side that he thought wasn't as good as the sheffield united side he played for previously; it was in reference to the fact he scored more for us than them. wasn't really dissing us IMO, just giving an honest opinion. he didn't comment on anything else about us, or mock the fans or anything like that.

If you don't want to hear about Billy Sharp, a sure fire way to avoid it would be to not click on a thread titled "Billy Sharp" ;)

Billy was the best striker i have seen in a Rovers shirt, it was worth paying the admission just to see him play in his first spell.
His second spell was not as good due to confidence issue's, the personal issue that we all know about and the manager not getting the best from him with the players around him, also Billy just lacked that spark he had in the first spell.
He was always a Blade just borrowed to us, but i am sure when he looks back the first spell will be his best spell in his career.

Fitness a factor but will be interesting to see who finishes top scorer between Billy and Tyson.

I hope for his sake that he's got his spark back. In his last spell for us he was poor and not much better for Leeds.
He seemed to lose his hunger and enthusiasm. He needs that in his game or he will just slide down the leagues.

It would be easy to forget a striker who had us on the verge of daring ton talk about the impossible dream. With him, Shackell (potentially) and a couple more we were in with a shout of promotion to the PL. He was prolific in his first spell. I suppose he set the bar really high. I wish him the best, not to our detriment, but hope he finds a bit of stability at a club he obviously loves.

We got him because Sheff utd had a neanderthal manager at the time who didn't have a clue, the only player i would have a framed picture of on my wall if i could afford one.
He was great for us, as we were for him, i have high hopes for Williams for us, Main as well, hopefully we can talk about them in the future with such high regard.

Sharp has gone through a lot of ups and downs in both his professional and personal life. I wish him well back at Utd, just not for the two games against Rovers.

It was great to watch in his first spell. The opposition hated him as he always got on the end of things or made a way to. The bustling style seemed not to be there during his second spell, whether down to him or our playing style and tactics, I don't know. It was a guarantee if we won 1-0 he was the scorer.

Everything comes to an end but it was great to watch. Crystal Palace away and Bristol City away are in my mind.
