It's defo illegal can't remember the offence but something to do with fixing
James Coppinger is the one to ask about this. It's what he was convicted of a couple of years ago 'commiting corrupt and fraudulent practices' by using the inside information he had to place bets on horses.

The rules were then clarified regarding players betting on games. I don't recall anybody suggesting anything illegal occurred.I don't see how it could possibly become illegal to bet on something, just because you are in ITK.
