I dont know the answer for sure but i would imagine it is along the lines of price per game.
For example on a seniors ticket it is about £11 per game so if you missed the first four games it would be about £44 cheaper than if you had bought a full ticket.
The £11 per game was the rate for buying early so the price per game may be based on having missed the early bird rate (so maybe £13-14 per game).
