We should be getting an update on DROS today.  If they are going to schedule the shortlist should have been made now, with interviews over this and next weeks.

I don't think we'll know who is on the short list - not officially from the club anyway...

Well it shouldn't take long to do if it's not a long list.  The update should be today so...

Give them chance they have probably only just shortlisted for who will be interviewed. They aren't going to give a brief update every 5 minutes.

Applications for the vacant manager's position have now closed and candidates will be shortlisted.

As part of "In Rovers We Trust", Doncaster Rovers Football Club have promised to keep our supporters up to date on the recruitment process of the first team manager.

On Friday the 25th September the application deadline for the role passed. The club will now prioritise shortlisting over the next few days before actively interviewing potential candidates over the following two weeks.

The Board of Directors will continue to back Rob Jones until a first team manager has been appointed on a full time basis.

Whilst the applicants will be handled with complete confidentiality, the club have been delighted with the high calibre of applications that we have received either directly or through agents. The Board of Directors want to state that this process will ensure that we get the very best manager for the Football Club.

The next communication on this subject will be on Friday 2nd October.

Looks to me that whoever gets the job will start from the Bradford game on 17th October. So Jones has three games to press his case.

Will that be too late though TRB?

I would guess they will be interviewing the shortlisted candidates this week, appointing a stand-out candidate if there is one or second interviews next week.

Too late for Jones or too late to save our season?

I think Jones really needs to win tomorrow to give himself a chance.

That's Rob Jones ruled out if it's a 'Short-list', i have heard it's between Vern Troyer or a Ant and Dec, with Brian Flynn and his brother Errol making a late surge up the betting!. :chair:
