Don't worry - we haven't signed him!

Case has been referred to the Court of Appeal.

His case will be overturned at the Court of Appeal on the grounds that the woman was likely to have consented. He will be granted leave to seek compensation for his false imprisonment and loss of earnings.

If the link works its regarding the earlier appeal and is a good read if you like to follow a legal argument.

Will be, or could be?

Are you in the legal process on this one?

If the Appeal courts decide that the conviction was wrong for whatever then the law will uphold the appeal.  But that is an "if".

As when this was bandied around before, unless you (or anyone) is party to all the same evidence presented to the court, we cannot pre-judge the appeal process..
