Just drove from Leeds and it was sunny in Leeds. By Donny it was horrific, not a fun drive and flooding all over.

It wasn't raining there earlier. Not sure what it's like now.

Only walked from car park to train station and got absolutely drowned. So decided to go back home. My lads just text me, he said it's bone dry no sign of any rain. Marvelous.

@drfc_official: WET WET WET: Spare a thought for the Rovers fans on that open terrace that are getting absolutely soaked as it hammers it down here

We were planning on going but it's forecast rain all nite in york, plus an uncovered away end.. Not my idea of fun..

Anyone remember when we used to breed MEN in Donny?

Chesterfield
Southport
Wigan
Hartlepool

Great open-terrace freezings/drenchings I have lived through and cherished.

There was one notable one at Blackpool I seem to recall but I was in opposite Stand with my Scout "mate"

Don't forget to add Huddersfield Leeds Road to that list.

One midweek fixture there in around 1982, it was pissing down so much that the stewards moved our fans from the open terrace to the covered seats.

Chesterfield away when we got done by Phil Robinson and Tony Lormor (if my hazy memory serves me correctly). Might have even been a Boxing Day. Soaked to the skin. And then some.

Unlike Orient that day when they had to move the kids and the vulnerable to the covered Seats to get out of the Sun

Just got home wetter than Thatcher at the sight of a closed pit. The result just f**king compounded the misery.

Glad I didn't take the little un tonight...

Oldham & Grimsby are two of the coldest i've been to.

Not been that drenched watching a Rovers game since we beat Real Soceidad.

It was a Boxing Day all right. The only match I've ever watched looking over my shoulder..!
