Having a nice relaxing evening and was looking through the book on the history of the club. Yes I know it would send some to sleep, but at least I ain't a dingle....thank you Lord.
Question
We must now be very close to the clubs 5000 th league goal. Can anyone tell me what were up to, or did I blink and miss it?
According to the book we'd scored 4706 at the end of the 2009/10 season.
Thanks in advance

15/16 - 11
14/15 - 57
13/14 - 39
12/13 - 62
11/12 - 43
10/11 - 55
So that would be 267 to add to that figure, 4973. Could be the 5000 by March?

Actually we scored 58 last season BRR, giving us 4974 at the start of this season I reckon.
So with the 11 so far, another 15 to go......

That 4974 is from now, so it's 26 to go

I think there is something fishy about that number 4706 in the book Lincs. It is on page 155 at the bottom of Rovers' records against all league clubs.
I have a spreadsheet of all Rovers' league seasons, and I reckon we had scored 4717 by the end of the 2009-10 season, and thus 4974 as of the beginning of this season.
Edit: Just gone to statto.com and imported all Rovers seasons into excel and totalled up - and come to 4974 league (i.e. excluding the 5 conference years) goals scored at the beginning of this season.

I will use your good self as the oracle and you will have the say.
Your mission agent Dutch is to decide what is the correct answer.
Failing this your other option is to make Barnsley a good footy team. Personally I'd stick to the former if I was you. RTID
