Don't tell the sponsors that though.

For me nobody can doubt what John, Terry and Dick have achieved, personal opinions of fans shouldn't stop the naming of stands, the problem is how do you split the three?, you can't.
Too many clubs sell their souls for a few hundred grand that ultimately gets swallowed up in running modern day football. It would be nice to see non financial decisions made sometimes, there's only one man who deserves the accolade, Albert Jenkins the founder of the club.

Why not call the 'East Stand' the 'Belle Vue' stand? It is the nearest stand to our history after all.

Yes another good call, it's disheartening to see everything sponsored to the hilt, we are supposed to be a family club. I know deals have to be done to compete, but some things are worth more than money, remembering where you came from.
Belle vue would be great, because when a little kids asks his or her dad 'Why is it called that'?!, it creates a link and understanding to the past that is important, you have to live in the present and future, but it does no harm to know your history.

We've sorted it then, Black Bank at one end, name the other three the John, Dick and Terry Stands!

I think we should put the away fans in the Dick Stand, mind.

Why are they still called stands when you have to sit down?
