Consider.

1) At the start of the Experiment (Oct 2011), it was widely reported that we were going to be paying no more than £2000 per week for the incoming players.

2) Jan 2012,the KM2 resigned from the Board.

3) 2013: When we filed our accounts for 2011/12, it turned out that our wage bill had skyrocketed from about £6.5m to about £9m (rough figures - too tired to dig out the precise numbers, but those aren't far off.)

I know what conclusion I draw from those facts...

I'm not sure I follow your logic there bpool. It was spoken about quite widely by board members and others, that JR ran the on field stuff.
