His formation isn't set in stone, he likes to change formations if things aren't working, when you are struggling for results you adapt the side to be more solid.
Defensively it's very hard with what we have to go 4-4-2, 4-5-1 you need energetic and creative quality around the lone front man we also struggle with that.
Stewart is not made to be a wing back, he can play it but you get his best playing as a winger, but then if he goes flat back four Evina is terrible in a flat back four, he has real problems in my opinion.

He needs other options added, the defender he has signed, is a player who struggles with either full back or centre half in Alcock, when we needed, aerial dominance and pace and power.
We need another defensive midfielder to share Keegans workload, a left winger to provide crosees, and a striker so Tyson and Williams don't have to play every game. The backline has been an embarrassment all season, until you get somebody in there who knows what he is doing we will struggle.

There is a 'guy' ideal for just in front of our back 3/4 available on a free transfer, the lad who Port vale have on loan the left winger from Cardiff, before vale renew his loan nip in, he was very good against us earlier in the season, that's two of the four, then you need the striker and centre half.
It needs patience until the end of the season, but you have to take action on the weaknesses we have, if not then you get sucked into the relegation zone, when we should have more than enough not to be dropping into that.
You won't win anything without a decent functioning defence, i don't care how attacking he is, if he continues ignoring the defence, it will be his downfall.

Frosty - you've not said anything  much really on this board for a while. Now we're having a bad run you're all over the bloody thing. Can't move for seeing your moniker everywhere.

What do you think we should all conclude from this about you, and your motivations?

Cheers

Come on Bob you should know me better than to stay away for so long!

I know I spit the dummy out but I'm genuinely worried about the future for DRFC.

We all worry mate. But the Cassandra approach you take does lead to folk ignoring what you say even when you are absolutely spot on.

Ok. Fair enough. People are always free to put their own interpretations to events. Personally I think they are unwise though to refuse to at least consider well meant advice from those with considerably more experience.

if you can't see the point I've made, then there's no point continuing this conversation. I've tried MrF. I really do think you have qualities you could make damn good use of. But if you're going to take this approach, well, feel free to wallow in your pit of shallowness, ignorance, misjudgement and absolute inability to construct a believable argument.

I'm sorry mate. But you've asked for that.

Cheers

At the moment we are playing rubbish. DF keeps saying that he is looking at youth for the future.  I feel that most of this first team need their arses kicking. It might do some of them good to be dropped and for DF to play some of the youth players and prepare them for next season.  Let's be honest this season is over.  Our only concern is staying up. One or two of the young lads might just surprise us and him and play well

Bally, i totally agree with the last four lines of his post.
I have been saying as much for weeks now.
However it isn't simply as case of just nipping in to take a player from PV before they renew his current loan.
What if he doesn't want to come to us for example?
