Looks like there might be something to sweeten the pill, like subsidised travel. However that won't help people who travel independently.

Better idea- don't give your money to Bradford and take a friend to the Peterborough game for a tenner.

Just don't go. Their loss not ours. It's only one game. The suggestion of taking a friend instead to the posh game is a good one. The players will understand.
