I'm trying hard to think of better full backs than Roberts and O'Connor in the championship, that season we got to the edge of the play offs then dropped off, i don't remember a team having two of the same standard that season.
Spurr was a good solid left back, though i would go for Roberts over him.

I think ATS sees a lot of the ball, so has more opportunity than many players to drop a clanger.

The point made about him falling over earlier in this thread, I mentioned yesterday about the amount of water on the pitch.  It had been tipping it down overnight, then the sprinklers come on 5 mins before kick off.  Both ATS and Matthews (twice) slipped.  Are we over watering our penalty box?

I don't think ATS is the scapegoat like we seem to have every year, i just think people have seen a lot of him in games, and the negatives far outweigh the positives.
Most on here are pretty fair minded when he played well a few games ago, people commented on it. Some of it is comparing him to players we've had, he doesn't compare well at all, i just think we need to support every one of the squad while they wear our shirt, to get out of this trouble he will be needed just like his team mates.
