Win, win

It's that simple. If we can get to 51 points, and assuming Blackpool can't win two, I'd be surprised if at least 1 of the 3 other sides above us don't mess up.

Blackpool would need to win both games - unlikely.
Fleetwood need just the win - fairly likely.
Shrews need two draws or a wiin - fairly likely, though my money is on their luck running out.
Chesterfield need two draws or a win - possible.

If we win our last 2 and any 2 of the teams from Chesterfield down lose both their last games we are saved. Unlikely but not impossible

So many permutations, but first things first, we HAVE to win at Crewe.

Then I might get the calculator out.

I've just had a good look at the teams/games involved,My guess is that it will go to the last day between us and Fleetwood and Chesterfield,I reckon Shrewsbury will stay up now with them having an extra game left than the rest of us,Blackpool will go down but sadly I think Fleetwood playing Crewe at home on last day is our biggest threat. Finally IF Chesterfield lose to Bury they are Away at Bradford on last day and could be our target to catch rather than Fleetwood.Come on Rovers, lets beat Crewe and Im sure we will be in with a chance. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I have taken view that if we win last two games then that has set up us up well either for life in League One or in League Two. If we do go down after that it will feel nothing like last two exits from Championship.

Sorry to say it but the games that are left for the others, I don't think two wins will save Rovers now. Shrewsbury's win at Gillingham really hurt today. We need Chesterfield to get beat by Bury next week to have any chance I think if they are to join Blackpool in the bottom four and us getting out.

Let's just win our games and see what happens. That's all we can do.

We have to get to the final day yet, don't count you're chickens!. Though we should beat Crewe, they have had the pressure released from they're shoulders. They have nothing to lose and will want to give they're fans a win. I do think we will beat them but it won't be as easy as just turning up, it will be another battle.

This is the way I'm looking at it now - Beat Crewe and see how many teams we can catch for the final game. If it's one, it will be tight, two we've got a chance, three - one of them is bound to fudge up.

You can't go chasing goals now, you just make sure you win each game, whether it's by one or two goals it's still three points.
If it does end up being Fleetwood we have to catch then we would need two very comfortable victories plus them losing quite heavily. But as of yet we don't know our opponent only the one we face each week, the players job is to make sure we are in the running going to the last game.
