Conor Grant

What happened to him? Obviously got injured, but seemed to settle well here before that and enjoy his football. I was under the impression he's out of contract at Everton this summer? I know it's unlikely he'd relish the prospect of League 2, but was just wondering.

Signing for a L2 club with promotion ambitions seems to have paid off for former Everton youngster John Lundstram - maybe CG will form the same opinion about regular first team football being his best option.

Either way, apparently more signings are expected this week. The Free Press are reporting that McSheffrey will be announced (as expected) and that a deal is close for another central defender and we're also looking at further strengthening the midfield.

You can only applaud the decisive action taken so far this close season. Relegation was obviously a blow but once it happens it's how you react to it that's key. Actions speak louder than words, and I think the actions so far should (once and for all) blow away the notion that there's apathy or lack of ambition at the top of the club. Mistakes have been made without doubt, but this is a very definite effort to get the club moving onwards and upwards. I hope all the supporters will come along with it.

Good so far on the signings, more still needed, a work in progress.

Getting Conor Grant back would be another very positive signing . He has a great future and would benefit greatly from developing  with a resurgent Rovers under the guidance of DF .

The situation with Grant and other Everton players may be complicated by the impending change of manager.

They have got a billionaire owner too, they're ambition might be ahead of Grants potential.

Looking at last season, Everton announced their released/retained list on 12th June. I would take Grant and Mattioni.

Grant would be a good signing. Him and Rowe would be formidable.

Grant will be happy to return ... unless he read the forum after he ducked a cross lol . I bet DF still rates him very highly as he no doubt rates Keshi too.

Where did you get he has gone to Portsmouth from? Can't find it on their site, Everton site or Portsmouth fans forum!

I read the end of that in a French accent, like it had been said by Baudry.

No Dickos, he is either suggesting "Tongue in cheek" CG has signed 3 year deal with DRFC ( cos we all know in 2017 they will be champions ) or he has a mixed up head ( CG and TR).

I wouldn't expect to see Grant here with the feedback from Joe Royal suggesting they want to test him at Championship level. I would be extremely surprised if they released him.
