A lot of coulds and shoulds.
What's wrong with McSheffrey his start dates keep going back, but he is the least of our worries.

But apart from McCullough we've had these injuries from the Newcastle game and we may have looking and talking yet we have not brought anybody in.

                           Etheridge

                      Wright   Butler

               Lund                       Evina/Garrett

                           Middleton   Rowe

             Coppinger                            Blair

                      Williams           Marquis

Not too bad a line up even with injuries, fingers, toes and everything crossed, for no more injuries though.

To say there's still 5 or 6 out injured that's still a decent line up. Just limited options on the bench

If we play with Four in midfield it will be a diamond and Rowe will play at its attacking point, where he's played in pre season.

If we do play the diamond I think Calder might start instead of Blair to give us a bit better balance

Is it true that McCullough is out for the season?

As for that line up above, it is ok of course but very little available as subs and we have four games in eleven days to get through, three of which are league games.

I think Calder deserves a start.

Yes it would probably give a better balance to the side. But say he did go with, my line up, then add Beestin, Calder,The new kid if we sign him, Keegan might be fit enough for the bench, Mandeville and one of Garrett or Evina. It's not great, but not too bad.

I suspect he'll go like this;

Etheridge
Blair Lund Wright Butler Evina
Coppinger Rowe Calder
Williams Marquis

I would go with a midfield diamond but suspect he'll go with three in the middle.

I think Garratt might get the nod but otherwise I agree. That team could easily switch into a 4-4-2 diamond though.
