Three out of four select the team with a back four, only one selects it with a back three.
However i hear that Ferguson has said in an interview that the players will have to learn how to play the wing back system so i guess we will have to be ready for them to set up that way.
The trouble is though that while the team learn how to do it we will probably be giving teams above us a head start and it will take some catching up.

I believe you could be right. But it's time DF talk to the owners to bring in another defender then we could use a back four if he decides with a spare defender.

We were supposed to be going for promotion not settling  for second best I know we have players to come back but when. We are giving teams like you say a head start.

But I feel the system also does not get the best out of Blair and Calder and the centre midfield Three play too wide apart. It as not stopped some chances but the players are not taking them. Let's hope it changes for results first and performances second.

Well I was wrong.
Nice to see a flat back four with Houghton in the Keegan role just in front of them.
Also, what an improvement in performance.

It's a pity that the best Five attacking players we have in our squad can't put the chances in the net. Blair,Coppinger,Rowe,Marquis and Williams should be capable of taking chances. The score should be at least 3. 0

But they did shoot straight at the keeper with the chances, shots at goal on target we should have won at least 5.  0.
Our best five attacking players on the squad they should have filled their boots.

The shooting was a lot better tonight, don't forget there were a couple of goal line clearances in quick succession too.  Williams' best efforts were from tight angles, but didn't wrong foot the keeper.

Shame about the penalty.  Keeper guesses right and it is a poor penalty.. He goes the wrong way and no one notices...

Much more cohesiveness, tempo, and overall effort tonight, but should have been 3-0 at least..

You have to give some credit, to their keeper, i thought he was their best player, it could have been a heavy loss without him.

As has been said, their keeper had a blinder.

Difference for me last night was that we came out from the start and looked to impose ourselves on the opposition. We have to do that every game at this level.
