Anything over about 4 foot high with a clean contact and its guaranteed to go in.

How do I make a claim on this "guarantee"?

If you find me a video of a penalty that is hit over 4ft high, on target, in a league game being saved you can have your money back.

Couple of examples here

Where do I collect my winnings?

taking a penalty can be a nervy thing, look at Aguero the other night missed two ,i would let Marquis take the next one he will have learned from his mistake players such as Copps obviously don`t fancy them otherwise they would be stepping up.

Personally I think Williams bottled not taking the penalty on Tuesday. After already missing a penalty surely Fergie must have got him practising them more in training? However as soon as Marquis stepped up the other night for the penalty I had no confidence in him scoring

It wouldn't surprise me. If you remember the penalty he scored against Wigan last season, McSheffrey would have taken it but he was fouled for the penalty award and received treatment. When the referee instructed him to go off, Williams freaked out and panicked, adamant that McSheffrey should be allowed to stay on so he didn't have to take it himself. Thankfully he scored but it has always stuck in my mind since with him.

I thought that Williams was going to take the penalty as he seemed to go over to get the ball from Marquis, on the  other hand Marquis may have said I'm having this one, but maybe not in those words, and the rest is history.

4ft high is a goal keepers dream. I wouldn't have you taking penalties.

It's too high. Keepers always dive low. Never see high penaltys saved. By the way I never missed one in a game!!

You wouldn't playing against fat, pissed up goalkeepers on a Sunday morning.

Can anyone remember Copps missing a penalty for us?

Was it not him who put one woefully wide in the last minute of a 3-2 home loss to Walsall? Lewis Guy then got swnt off I believe...

God forbid that Coppinger takes penalties.

For all his genius, his failing has always been his final decision. He shoots when he should pass, passes when he should cross and crosses when he should shoot.

Let him take a penalty and he'll cross the f**king thing into the East Stand.

Some players just realise they are not good penalty takers. It's as much a strength to tell the manager to let somebody else take it, as somebody who steps up to take one. The team comes first.

I dont remember him shooting wide against Walsall, i thought he side footed a pass straight to the keeper, who didnt have to move.

Thank god for big John at the moment. Him banging in the odd goal takes the pressure off Williams that last season would have had repercussions. If Williams is going to go on one of his 'runs' at least we've got alternatives to score. It would have been crisis time without Marquis but now it's looking much better. To win this league all we have to do is keeping picking up points on these long journeys. Forget about Portsmouth and the rest of them.

Even more alternatives when McShefferey is back..  He'll get a few too.

I think Marquis has all it takes to become a crowd favourite very quickly. In a similar way to how Paul Barnes helped lift us back in to the league, Marquis looks capable of doing a similar job.

Think keeping hold of Williams will be a great bit of business this season ,I can't see no reason why him & Marquis can't score 30 between them this season barring any serious injuries.

When you have a couple of decent strikers it takes a lot of weight off both. Doubling up on one leaves space for the other and if one dries up a bit there isn't as much pressure on the other.

They will be doing extraordinarily well if they're a better strike force than Leo and Blundell.

The Goalie isn't stood on his line in both of them, infact the first one he's gets about 3ft forward and probably would not have saved it if he was.
I don't agree with Gazlaz though.Above 4ft is usually better but not guaranteed.

All the ones I've faced over the years - the ones that are without a doubt hardest to get near are the very low ones in the corners - you send one either side of me at 4ft and I choose correctly I'm having a very good chance of saving - even if I guess correctly and move early it's still a helluva pig to get anywhere near the ones in the bottom corners at ground height to 1ft above!
