I owe the lad a minor apology for implying in the week he was only an average keeper at this point. Three really good saves today. Top class saves, in fact.

I thought he played really well today. Made 3 great saves and showed good command of his box. Came out well for crosses too.  Very impressed.

He's surprised me. There was a punch season half today as good as any you'll see.

He has improved no end this season, I was slightly concerned when he first got in to the team, but I'm pleased to say he has done himself credit since he has.

Fair play to him I say. So far he's taken the number 1 spot and improved game by game.

He said when he re-signed that he wasn't staying to be on the bench. Clearly worked hard and deserved his chance.

Keep it up Marko!

Did ok today, but 3 great saves?? One good one that you'd expect him to save 99 times out of a 100. Only other shot they had on target (header actually) was blocked on the line by a combination of Morosi and Butler.
Backed up by BBC stats who are never knowingly wrong!

That's the best performance I've seen by Marosi - well done to him.
I imagine that will have done his confidence no harm at all.

I can recall two top saves by Marco today, the one from the header late on and the one when he saved to his left from a close range shot after the ball fell to a Newport player in our box.
I like the way he comes for crosses and comes out of his 18 yard box to sweep up through balls.
Ok there was one he missed which allowed Parkin to miss an open goal opportunity but he was left exposed after a bad touch by Butler.
However, Marco is improving week on week and I like his energy and confidence.

To m me he's showing he just needed a run of games. Improving all the time.

Agreed he was good today and commanded his area,  whereas the Newport keeper looked an absolute unit but sadly not a keeper (apart from the save towards the end of the 1st half)

However,  remember he only kept a clean sheet because Jon Parkin is a fat,  useless twonk who couldn't kick a ball in a straight line between 2 scrambling defenders.

Firstly on Marosi thought he played really well. nice to see one of our keepers coming for crosses be it catching or punching. His save in the 2nd half was exceptional contrary to MrFD, the forward should have scored.
Secondly the introduction of pace after taking Parkin and his fellow thug off caused us problems hope with the fitness of Baudry we might get a little bit of pace into our back 4
