I have just checked the Boxing day fixtures

and we have

Plymouth v Wycombe "toughies"

which we all new about
and Newport V Portsmouth which I hadn't noticed

so it's blatantly obvious Newport win this one not only from the "Liverpool money" point of view

I expect very little football to be played tonight and hopefully "Graham's" men can wear them down in 90 minutes -- they've had a tent on what "passes" as a football pitch

alternatively beating them on PENALTIES !!!! will just do fine

it's an absolute shite game.... tbf pitch looks like it's been plowed recently. Newport look very average, but plymuff aren't looking much better...

All we can hope it that there is a 50/50 that McCormack is at the wrong end off....

Best result for us. Never fancied Plymouth to finish in the top 3 and even less so now.

They ground share with a Rugby Union side but I suspect the pitch is not one of the "modern" ones. Although last time I saw Coventry their pitch didn't look good.

I hope they have a long run in the competition with plenty of extra time thrown in. They haven't got the squad to cope with it. We have a good squad but we would struggle if we were involved in both. You can't have massive squads in this league the money just isn't there.
