B.B. if you watch the replay closely the Cheltenham defender gets the touch that went to Marquis,I am not denying the great build up run to the edge of the box,and want him to succeed as much as you, but  we had a bit of  luck with the run of the ball being nicked off him I.M.H.O. and going to Marquis.

That was a stroke of luck, but the point I'm making is that May created the opportunity for that stroke of luck to occur.

Not forgetting of course, that the defender was put under pressure by May so as to completely mess up.

May is the only striker with the raw pace and agility tobhave created that chance.

I stick by my opinion, Williams is a fairly good player but I think we can do better now. He has had a bucket load of chances and put none away. There is a reason why he is playing. In league two even with his 1 in 3 record from the past few seasons. I think Swindon saw the best of him in the first 2/3rds of his last season with them. I do t think he has much more to offer us now.

I'm not out for an arguement or trying to be contentious with those comments - it is just how I see him as a player today.

I think that marquis and Mandeville are the two players who are the most gifted,Marquis for his all round game plus his goal record,Mandeville  is so clever with his positional play and his ball control,he does not need a touch like Alfie and Williams, and unlike most of our players hits the ball cleanly while running,he is a great prospect in my opinion, lets hope he steers clear of further injuries.

I reckon we've got a nicely balanced strike force at present and it would probably serve us well enough in the league above.
