About brexit  > at least the country's fishing fleet will be happy when the U.K. Pulls out.

Think even the fish will be  Evan more happy too from what I overheard them saying

Will they be happy when they lose the right to fish in EU waters?

Well just look at the state of
And lack of the fishing fleet how it stands today after the things changed sometime back.

I would say the U.K. Fishing fleet as gone down by half if not more?but I could be wrong.

As for not fishing in other European waters ,surely that's a given as our fishing trade was healthy enough when U.K. Had controll of its own waters .

I could be wrong ,but that's how I see it

What i find genuinely sad about you is that you appear to be living in one of the most progressive countries in the world.

And yet everything you say is loaded with hate, disgust or a longing for the days of Christmas past when you could punch your troubles away.

It's a crying shame.

Stop spouting b*llocks syme about  me punching my troubles away as every ones knows that I can't
Fight my sleep.

Perhaps Stockton, it's the fact this is the first peep from you, yet this guy has been posting bigoted nonsense for lord knows how long.

And the most you come up with is to criticise me for responding.

Shame on you.
You really are an arrogant pompous individual.
Your smarmy repost because I have the temerity to not back your post or decry someone else's is beyond logic.

If you sit back in life and observe and absorbe information, patterns and trends you can draw plenty of conclusions but it's not obligatory to state them.
In this instance I commented on a pattern - end of. You then get all high and mighty and start calling people names.
Shame on you.

I believe that we have 13% of the EU's total sea area, but we are allocated 30% of the EU's total quota... I've never been good at maths, but I think that - given that EU's common fisheries policy (2014) was largely tailored to please the UK (from memory) - folks might be disappointed. Wasn't Farage all about the fish and fishing as an MEP? Oh yes, I think he only bothered to turn up to one meeting... It's one thing to despise the EU, it's quite another not to do your job. Still, he'll get a nice EU pension, eh?

Oh, and I seem to remember that our government divvies out our fishing quota... largely to 3 big fishing companies rather than villages and individuals. Guess who paid grants to the villages to help then cope with losing out on quotas..? Can you guess?

The fishing fleets have shrunk since the 1970s because of the quotas put in place to stop fish stocks being overfished and dying out completely. Brexit and being 'in control of our own waters' will not change the number of fish in the sea so all that will happen is that the quotas will be imposed by the UK government instead. Why do you think Brexit is going to make any material difference to the British fishing industry apart from restricting the area they can fish in - which I can't see as being beneficial to them at all?

Is it beyond logic Stockton? To expect a citizen of an advanced western democracy to decry blatant racism.
I stand by my point. You are shameful.

Well that says far more about you and your inability to take on board what I said than it does about me and my "Shamefulness" perceived by your skewed interpretation of logic.
I stand by my points too.

Fcuk me Iam glad that you are taking a good share of the flack away from mr stocktonrover.

Mr symes issue is that he backs up what he thinks in a clean well educated way ,I went to St. Peter's and was held back so I have no chance.

But mr syme can not take another point of view on board and he goes
into bursting his own blood cells mode to get his stance across .

The shamefull punt towards you was shamefull and just not queensbury forum rules.

He is not my cup of tea ,but that's life and I have no stress with him
if we found are sens stood at whatever bar having a pint .
