We have got plenty of Adders in Sprotbrough and Cadeby,we also have Roe and Muntjac deer .
We have also got thousands of Cannabis grow detritus, and the not so good folk of Donny love to come up here to enjoy The countryside on their Quads and off road motorcycles, some like to come here and blast holes in road signs with shotguns,or coarse hare or take deer with Lurcher Pitbull cross dogs,or dump their unwanted tyres and household waste,or building rubble,or undelivered Yellow pages,
Or do their dirty drug dealing, and it's just amazing how much rubbish you can dump after spending £8 in the KFC or Mucky 'D's ,or meet up for not so secret sexual encounters.
Yes the folk of Donny certa know how to make the most of the countryside.
Oh and some of us do actually go up there twice a year on our Sunday morning off and pick up everybody else's crap.

This fly tipping seems to be going on all over the country going on recent reports for whatever reasons.

It don't happen out here because there is a number of kommune ( local council) run rubbish dumps.

It's free to dump whatever ,but they do keep an eye out should you be trade.

There are certain areas for whatever rubbish you are chucking out.

A metal container

A wood container

A plastic container

Cable container

Special area to dump any washing machines ,fridges and cookers

Area for all light fittings

There is about 8 blokes working in each yard helping or making sure you put your crap into correct place .

Can't understand why U.K. Can't have same set up

Probably because they're bone idle or its shut when they get there, so just dump it anywhere. Nearest one to centre of Donny is on Armthorpe Rd next to Castle Park rugby ground.

A good few years back my wife took the kids when they were litle and her parents down to Sprotborough falls. Her Dad had taken his binoculars with them so they all went into one of the hides. Only been in there a couple of minutes when her Mum bolted for the door saying I'm not staying in here. Eventually they all went out and asked her what the problem was. She opened the door and pointed to the corner where a rather large adder was coiled up she hadn't bothered to tell them when she left! 😲

I live on Barton Lane only half a mile from the Armthorpe Rd site and there is regularly van loads of domestic and trade rubbish dumped on the lane.  It's not hard to work out why unscrupulous trades people do it but Joe Public??? Scum!!!

Free for private folk but if you turn up in a large van you'll get checked out and be charged if you're trade.

Very commendable but why the sweeping statements about the the people of Donny dumping their crap up there.

Incidentally enjoyed the programme .

Whilst obviously not a reflection on everyone in Donny it's annoying having to put up with this

Don't know why KFC can't put a barcode or something similar on bag that links back to scum who toss it out of window
