Seems that a newspaper according to sky news a uproar after adding a headline 'battle of the legs ' to a face on photo of may   > sturgeon sat crossed legged.

May has by all accounts said she has no issue with the picture or headline and can only see it as fun.

The crankie has yet to comment .

After seeing said photo I like to add 'you don't look at the mantelpiece when poking the fire place'

On another nite Scottish parliament have backed sturgeons call for a 2nd independent referendum.

I can't quite workout what is going on in Scotland ,as any Scottish person that I have spoke to had said they don't want another referendum for whatever reasons, but you have lady sturgeon pushing for one.

Maybe I have been speaking to the wrong cross section of jocks?

What do any Scottish members on here think?

One thing for sure that the raise and strength of the SNP north of the boarder certianly has put the spanner into the works of the Labour Party getting in at number 10 in the near future.

SNP have Greens on their side in Holyrood as their leader has essentially become Sturgeon's lap dog, giving her a majority in the Scottish Parliament effectively. Bit like Clegg but less formal.

The SNP don't give a f**k about anything except independence - they haven't passed a public Bill for over a year.

The SNP must be doing something correct up there as Labour are about as welcome as the conservatives going on the votes for them.

As for the SNP ,I can't get my head around sturgeon herself as from my simple way of thinking her face just don't fit with me.

As a PR figure she has no quality what so ever and for me in person annoys the hell out of me.it must have been noticed by others ?

Aye, but they've lost their majority since the 2011 elections, and the Conservatives have made massive inroads at Holyrood. Very strange up there at the moment.

I can't stand Sturgeon either.

The Scottish Tories have done well ever since they took the masterstroke of making Ruth Davidson leader. She is no right winger- no bad thing in a left of centre country- but her appeal is that she's the only politician in Scotland who will take on Sturgeon. As such a lot of people who would never vote for a Tory in England have gravitated to them. Basically they have become the main party of Scottish Unionists.

Which the LAbour Party, if it had any leadership at all, bloody well should have been. It must take monumental incompetance to hand the role to the hated Tories....

Brilliant.

Here's why the Scottish Tories under Ruth Davidson are doing well.

A lot of natural Labour voters who are sick of the SNP's one club golf can buy into this.

I have just left Scotland after 15 years and one of the reasons was the constant harping on about independence ........I voted NO last time as did most of my fellow pensioners . Sturgeon is very unpopular with the older generation and particularly in the north east of Scotland .She seems to appeal to the Central belt ( Glasgow-Edinburgh ) and like last time doesn't seem to have an answer to how they are going to pay for everything .

I'm sure there's one or two on here who can put her mind at rest on that score.

The Government have bent over backwards to help Scotland. Loads of devolved power and far more of the public purse than they are entitled to.
Give them another referendum,  they'll vote to stay in the Union by a bigger majority and hopefully the SNP will then be a busted flush and Sturgeon will never be heard of again.

Let's have another referendum vote ,but this time let those who live south of Hadrian's wall vote on it. I think Jimmy Krankie would get her wish with a massive majority, I for one would vote for it, then sit back and watch her struggle to pay for it .Scotland would be skint within 5 years
