Rovers Accounts

The accounts for last season are now up on the Companies House site;
PATIENCEFORM LIMITED - Filing history (free information from Companies House)

Not much there tbh.

Some others look to be in bother. I would guess the L2 side is Orient;

I also was wondering if it was Leyton Orient or not, since Morecambe also seem to be in a bad way

There is a short article from the vsc to come as usual. I just haven't had time to write it yet. Apologies to all for that.

Not as in detail as previous years.

It does seem to show that they've turned the debt in to shares if I've read it correctly.

The way things are going Leyton Orient won't exist next season.

I guess one of the League One sides is Chesterfield. Coventry could be another given that they may be homeless in 12 months time.

I'd agree with that RB. Maybe Bury is the other one?

I thought Bury had an owner with a bit of money. Unless it has run out, of course.

The situation at Leyton Orient really is a disgrace. I see the players and staff haven't been paid again.

The move to convert debt to equity has to be applauded - from looking at the accounts of financial position looks more secure than it has done for several years.

Debt to equity effectively improves the position of the club by converting loans into what are effectively donations.

I hope everyone can now see the intentions of the owners are genuine.

Meanwhile, down the Orient it gets more and more disturbing;
EFL ask LOFT to step in and fund Leyton Orient's match-day medical bills (From East London and West Essex Guardian Series)

So glad DRFC are run by good people, and we missed the Hedge fund bullet.

I would have though that Charlton will be one of the clubs in League 1. Port Vale might be another as they have a large (and increasing debt) and have been up for sale for a couple of years.

Poor Orient, you really cant see them surviving. At least the ground is safe.

RB, this article was written by David Conn as recently as Oct 2016;
