Fair play to the lad.. gone back to everton after 13 years at Man u and winning every trophy under the sun in that time!!

I dont think he gets the plaudits he deserves because he banged a granny or two back in the day,, but hes right up there with Shearer and linekar and Robbie fowler as the best ever premier league strikers!!!

I doubt a club at our level has had a striker playn for them 13 years consecutively

Great player, a premier league great,a Manchester United great and a England great. Won every domestic trophy possible and broke records at club and country level yet people will still say hes underachieved.

I hope he goes on to play as a out and out striker week in week out for United and I think he will do well next season.

Gary "Linekar" has never played a single minute in the Premier League.

3/10, must try harder, stick to the Off Topic section.

And we're approaching the point of the week furthest away from the next Monday.

CLH, i did consider the own goal possibility.
However, my post is now a prediction, Rooney will not score for Man Utd this season.

If he does i will chuck a tenner into a charity of your choice.

Will you do the same if he doesn't score an own goal?
