Big test we can beat them but they are a strong quick team good strikers as there midfield, but play like we can and we could be the first to beat them. What do you all think

Yeah, we can beat them alright.

What about our starting eleven, we need to be set up as a solid unit and be hard to beat ourselves.
How about:
Lawlor
Mason  Wright  Butler  Tofollo
Houghton
Kongolo  Whiteman  Rowe
Coppinger
Marquis

In a 4-1 3-1-1 set up.

Whiteman with a bit more freedom to get forward would be good and Copps linking it all together.

Plenty of options from the bench if we need to change things around.

Play like last saturday and it will be like the 0-4 at their place a couple of seasons ago.

I work with some Posh fans and they still go on about that result.

Play as we can, and it could be a high scoring game.  I think i have it as 3-3 on Super6..

That's the formation id go with, looks bloody strong on paper.

Have to say hounds idea of our line up and formation is interesting and could be what we need. We also have plenty of pace where needed and a midfield a lot of teams would like to have. On our day we can beat anyone in this league and that includes Pererborough - yes they are a good side and have started well so let's be the first team to burst their bubble. Oh and there is the small issue of we owe them big time so let's put it right tommorrow - come on you reds - we can do this! :rtid: :clapping:

That does look a very strong team individually but would be worried if Marquis gets isolated in that formation. Can't really see any player getting in behind them in that formation which we would have with the energy of May.

Fergie played a formation last season with two No 10's I seem to remember, Copps and Rowe off JM. Can't see him playing it tomorrow though. Posh play 3 centre halves, I think we need someone who is capable of getting down the sides of them as opposed to playing in front of them.

Marquis can't play lone striker and don't think we can drop May just on one game , he was not that bad rest of team never played to him or anyone else for that matter, and I don't think he will start Houghton

Quite interesting to see a team sitting pretty at the top of the league without using any out field loanees .

The team I picked is a suggested starting eleven.
It wouldn't have to be the finishing eleven though would it.
I picked it to be strong enough not to throw the game away in the first hour.
Depending on how it was going players like May, Williams, Mandy and Blair are available to support Marquis.

Not worth reading into after 4 games.
