Someone has reported him to the police as well. I really despair with football fans sometimes! It's not like he was doing the helicopter! He needed a piss!

Could one of the Nevilles not lend him a pair of incontinence pants for the next game.

It could be potentially very serious for him if the police have been involved, as he could be deemed to have been exposing himself in public, particularly if there were children in the crowd.

In a way I sympathise. When Puncheon was desperate for the toilet he ran off for a few minutes, but a goalie can't. However, it's inexcusable to just whip your old boy out on a football pitch, if that's what he's done, in front of a crowd and everything. Brain-dead behaviour even if he was desperate.

Wasn't there a player who got into trouble for the exact same thing a couple of years ago?

As for the person who reported him and made a formal complaint, then I wonder if it was done out of spite with him being an opposition player rather than for the actual 'offence' itself?

If he had asked th ref to stop the game so he could nip off for a p1ss , what is the official stance the ref would take , would he say no and make him play on as a goalie it is a strange one

By all accounts, he had a pee against the side of the stand - the equivalent of a player running over and having a p*ss in or around the East Stand, and it was the linesman that flagged and hen spoke to the referee.

I think what you'd do to get the opportunity to have a 30 second break is tell your defender to go down saying he's got cramp, then take your chance during that stoppage in play.

Presumably, that's what happened anyway.

Wonder how many times his mum said, go before you start? If only  he’d listened to her!

Can almost guarantee it was done out of spite.  How many fans call players every name under the sun, and the call the police when they get some back.

Fair enough being disciplined in the game but reporting it to the police is a bit much!

I would have just Pissed in my shorts.

Same here.

I'd have took it further at the next corner by putting my hands down my shorts so my gloves stank of fresh piss, then wiped it on an opposition striker's hair until he retaliates and gets sent off.

Job done.

Kit man might be unhappy, but manager would be pleased.
