 Apologies if it's been mentioned but I'm told there is no pay on the gate on Saturday...Is that correct??? Going to be a last minute decision for me depending on what time I get finished..cheers

Yes, however doesn't mean you can't pay on the day at the ticket office. Needless to say it'll put more pressure on the ticket office dealing with the walk up, so pre purchasing is the better option if you can.

There's no reason we should miss out on walk ups, who can still pay on the day. Of course, if the away end is full, then it's sensible to rescind pay on the turnstile. It's not a new phenomenon.

Yes, there may be bigger queues at the ticket office if people don't or can't plan ahead. I'm sure the club will be ready to get people served as quick as possible

There is usually a cut off point for buying over the phoine on match days,for 15:00 KO you can't purchase them after 12:00 I was in a queue one Saturday morning from 11:30 got through at 12:10 only to be told they'd stop phone sales at 12:00,best option is to get them booked today & pick up from the collection point near to the south stand tunstiles.

It's going to be a busy game, logically if you can only decide on the day you need to allow enough time for the ticket office queue.  That was always the case.

It's not as if this fixture was only announced yesterday.

Where I sit in the West stand it’s usually empty but all the tickets around me have been sold so I would expect the ground to be full, crowd should be over 12k

Not necessarily, the turnstile operator would just need a handheld scanner. They do that at plenty of other places, Sheffield Arena being one of them.

  Sometimes it just works against you...Originally I had a Window guy coming from the insurance to do there quote for a new window..They only give you those 5 hour time slots so I either got lucky or not on whether I could attend the game depending on what time they arrived.I couldn't order or even get there early to queue as it was out of my hands..It's just tough luck sometimes,nobody's fault..
   However on reflection I cancelled them and my mate got me a ticket when he went for his..My thinking is that after the thieving tossers had cleaned me out when they broke in through the window the first time,i have nothing left worth stealing so another week wont hurt....
