Good of them to put that up in the public domain really, he actually sounds confident to me that the game will be on! But we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Pitch will be playable it'll be the areas surrounding the stadium and pedestrian access which may get this postponed.

If you watch the video, our groundsman answers first a question on the pitch and then one on the surrounding areas, so this isn't just referring to the playing surface.

... and the only viable Route between Bury and here (M62) is packed with vehicles that are "stuck" and have been for 12 Hours now

Highways England say it may be Noon before it reopens and though the weather picture is "improving" how can a warning such as "do not travel unless it is absoloutely essential" be squared away. I would say Game will be "off" by 10am this Morning

Also there is another batch of snow heading North and East overnight and depends where that ends up though at the mo it does have our name on it !

Lets be honest, Bury will only have enough fans coming to fill a taxi. If they set off now they can hire a couple of tandems.

Snow forecast both for the midlands and the north tonight and tomorrow morning. I don't think I'll be venturing out whether it is on or off.

No snow is forecast for Doncaster tonight or tomorrow.

To be fair the over reaction to the weather is a joke.

Apart from Wednesday the main roads have been clear  and the amount of snow falling is nothing compared to years past.

The game will be off for one reason , the nanny state health and safety requirements around the periphery of the ground , but if temps stay above zero then the snow will be melting away.

If the game is on I will be there

I hope you are right but as I said in Reply #4 - we need some opponents

Fans not as important but unless Bury FC travel by train there is no viable route for them (at the moment of course) so it may be that that prevents the Game going ahead

The sun is coming out now Wolfie, we are in the land of milk and honey.
Think of it this way, declare the pitch fit to play and if they do not turn up claim the points. Easy peasy.

I will take your comments as a generalisation.. where I live the snow is drifting a lot, with more forecast for tonight.. yesterday our village was virtually cut off..

Ok that won’t determine whether our game goes ahead,  but it certainly isn’t a joke, as you say..

Ha ha ... more like we go "one up" and then score for them from the KO and end up 1-1 again !

Nothing on DROS or Twitter / Facebook saying that. Only BBC Site saying this.

Bury Site saying nothing

Maybe BBC have confused Development Game being off ?
