Breakdown of remaining fixtures

There are nine games left - 7 of the opponents are currently in the bottom half of the table and six of those seven are in the next run of games - Blackpool and Gillingham have little to play for, Oxford a little bit to play for and then Wimbledon and Bury have everything to play for.

After this stretch there is then a trip to Oldham sandwiched between games against Blackburn and Wigan who will be going hell for leather for the finishing post (thus more open games?).

There's five home games too and with just 4 losses in 18 home games, you'd back Rovers against pretty much anyone.

Wimbledon (H) 19th - lost reverse 2-0
Gillingham (A) 13th - drew reverse 0-0
MK Dons (A) 22nd - won reverse 2-1
Bury (H) 24th - won reverse 1-0
Oxford (H) 16th - lost reverse 1-0
Blackburn (H) 3rd - won reverse 3-1
Oldham (A) 20th - drew reverse 1-1
Wigan (H) 2nd - lost reverse 3-0

In the "How many Points will we actually get" Thread 34 people averaged out predicted 13.02 Points of which we have already bagged 3

So another 10.02 to come from it matters not where - and total safety

Not sure about teams having little to play for.
Players are playing for contracts and we certainly wouldn’t be happy if our team just went through the motions in end of the season matches (just hang on while I think about that a bit more).

On our Predictions we said an average (34 people that is) with 13.02 Points and gained 3 of them last game

Therefore we are on for 10.02 for the remaining 9 games or 1.11 a Game so you are correct !
