I don't care too much, just not to any NFL linked organisation. Owning is one thing, trying to change the nature of sport over here through money is another.

Wembley lost its magic and appeal when they started having cup semi finals there

I think the Premier League have done that already Bristol.

Lots of people do like it though, Bezza; that makes it marketable.

So the taxpayer foots the bill to the tune of £130m to rebuild Wembley, then the FA  sellls it for £800m. How much do you think the taxpayer will get back.......

The taxpayer (treasurer) contributed £40m with the lottery stumping up £120m.

crap to get to, in a very crap area, crap parking, everything very over priced.
should have been built in the midlands to mak it accessible for all.

no-one was complaining when cup finals were played in cardiff......

My initial reaction was NO. But when you think about it, sadly it does make sense. The FA pay off the loans they still owe for Wembley. FA cup semi finals probably go back to neutral grounds (Villa park, Old Trafford etc) High profile England games stay at Wembley, friendlies and smaller games tour England.

Wembley? Ours? It's no more 'ours' than your house is.

When you think of the amount of money needed to improve grassroots facilities (to a standard in comparable European countries) the money raised from the sale of Wembley is a drop in the ocean. And that assumes all the money WILL go to grassroots football.

Personally I'm not in favour, although having the FA Cup semis and some England games played away from Wembley would be one positive to come from it.

If matches were to be played away from Wembley no-one would want to buy it, hence the confirmation that nothing would change.

the money is better in the FA's bank, and I'm all for England playing home matches around the country again!

Unfortunately Wembley is not the hallowed ground it used to be, I couldn't care who owns it & I think internationals & other games of importance should be spread around the country.

Why on earth are people thinking that matches currently played at Wembley will suddenly not be played there?

It’s a terrible stadium. Soulless concrete bowl with only corporate clients considered. The principality is far superior in every way for me. Closer to the pitch, far better atmosphere, in the city centre... I could go on.

Utter, utter waste of money. Should have just given the old on a facelift for half the cost
