Don't think he's done a bad job there. Carlisle were rooted when he took over and he's progressed them year on year and got the best out of several players who he's sold on for decent money.

Disappointing.

Interesting though was the opinion of him from Billy Paynter.  Two sides of course but it made him out to be a nasty chap.

He was sat in the East stand for the Bury match. Wonder if he is in talks to be their manager next season

it was very hard to spot the detail in the fact that he will no longer be manager ....

i saw it on the sky ticker say to pursue "other opportunities"  but no mention elsewhere so rigo is "off the hook"

another takeover didn't happen there and it is not that long since they were in (or almost) the playoffs with Leeds to get out of League one

and remember last season that long unbeaten run DRAWING (in Doncasteresque draw style) attention at the start of the season

As we know the rivers of fortune have not helped them but that's all water under the bridge now.

funny thing is i have never considered him a "black " manager as defined in these modern times

What on earth are you talking about? this has to be among the most ridiculous things I've read of yours and by God there's some competition.

He was also at Oldham's game midweek, maybe looking for something in Lancashire?

And so it goes on. The odds of surviving a season as a manager: evens.

As I’ve posted on here in the past I’ve a mate at work who’s a Carlisle supporter and he’s pleased he’s gone, not very popular with the supporters and only saved his job at least twice previously with last gasp wins
